Vinyl Distortion and Gaps. Is it not an issue in Forza 5?

I was doing some vinyl work on #007 DBR9 and wanted a carbon insert on the front fenders. You know where the portion is depressed and to my disappointment another flawed car when I tried
to complete the right side area .
