Cars need to be at least 50 years old (model years 1967 and older)
A 600
full course Silverstone circuit
50 mil cr for the fastest clean lap, preferably against competition. Hot laps are wimpy =3)) but will be allowed.
my replay is up, with my contribution (lap time 2:10.8xx)
prizes for best tune, best photo, most imaginative choice of car and whatever else inspires…
I decided to try the 1965 Pontiac GTO as I owned one of those in the early 1970’s.
I raced in the Career mode in the World championship Series for A class.
This was the only series that had the Silverstone GP Circuit.
After running both Heats of 6 laps each. I finished with a best lap of 2:06.032 on lap 5 of the 2nd Heat. The lap was a clean lap.
If you race on Multiplayer, the cars are not competitive. and in Career they are over aggressive. I got 20% damage in the race for my best lap.
I came in 3rd in both Heats.
Replay up on the Storefront.
I’ll try to get some pictures.
I’ll post the Tune if anyone wants to try the GTO I used.

I am looking forward to running this one
I ran the Ford Country Squire wagon at 2.07.793 on a #9 start with a 3 sec rollout … didn’t matter setting AI at high difficulty in those stock Shelby Cobras tho … thats what the computer gave me for A class 1967 … 5 lap replay is up
My choice of words made this confusing, so that everyone thought they had to race against other vintage cars. I just raced against a field of A class and took what the game gave me for competitors. My aim is merely to increase the challenge by racing against AI cars (or against people if you’re able to set it up) rather than hotlapping. Sorry.
Dusted off some old iron…

1961 E-type Jag
2:03.981 - lap 6
Replay on the storefront
I did not use the rear wing, because it ruins the look of the E-type.
should we have a vote for the winners, or keep this going longer?
I surely would like to see more contestants. Keep in mind there are going to be multiple prizes. I plan to give away a very special Sierra Cosworth with paint by Torque and tuning by Draggin, as well as some other goodies.
votes, anyone?
one vote for the Brown Brothers Mustang livery
