I recently won a Aventador and maxed out the engine. When I went to tune the car, no matter how much I adjusted the final drive and gear ratios, the top speed was still 435 km/h (270mph) and this is the same case with the V12 swapped sesto and Veyron Super Sport, and yet the Agera RS has no issue reaching 450 km/h (280mph) even though it weighs at least 400kg (881lb) more than a sesto and has 112kw (150hp) more power than a sesto. Any reasons for this? Open to all opinions
My best guess would be RWD vs AWD. RWD always seems to reach a higher top speed
The only thing I can think of is something with the aero maybe. Also, I’ve noticed that some cars like the Agera have their top speed reduced when doing an AWD conversion, so maybe that has something to do with it as well since all the cars you mentioned (Aventador, Sesto and Veyron) are AWD.
