Using xoutput on PC to emulate xbox controller - issues while playing

I’m playing Forza Horizon 4 on PC and I’m using the software XOutput to emulate an xbox 360 controller with an old PS3-compatible cheap controller.
The steering feels a bit “off” and when my left stick is only half-way (to simulate a slight turn of the wheel) the wheel seen from inside the cockpit seems unstable instead of showing a smooth transition to the side I’m turning to.
I’m always coming dead last in all races - maybe because of this, maybe not…
Anybody else having similar issues?

Same problem here.
I bought the game and I can’t play it, XOutput isn’t work to emulate a XBOX control.
