CAREER MENU

FEATURED: PORSCHE TOUR

The Porsche Tour invites you on a journey to discover how the German manufacturer’s commitment to innovation and excellence has led to an impressive trophy cabinet of motorsport victories that span multiple decades.

Get behind the wheel of the latest Porsches in the Showroom and compete in both Porsche production cars and racecars in Porsche Motorsport Icons, Porsche Endurance, Mid-Engine Porsche, and Rear-Engine Porsche.

Porsche Motorsport Icons

The early 1970s proved to be an exciting time for Porsche. Its cars filled out the racing divisions of competitions across the world. In 1971, the 1971 Porsche #23 917/20, with its rose-colored livery and unique looks, helped establish itself as an icon in the motorsport world. Infamously referred to as the “Pink Pig,” the 917/20, while never crossing the checkered flag, certainly cemented its place in the history books. It lives in its unique livery at Porsche’s Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen museum, but now you can experience the 917’s both icon establishing and ill-fated run at “the big race” in your attempt to finish what it originally set out to do.

Porsche Endurance

In the late 1980s, Porsche continued its legacy in endurance racing with the 1987 Porsche #203 Porsche AG 961. Unfortunately, during the 1987 big race, driver Kees Nierop got into an accident in the eighteenth hour which set the car on fire. It never had the opportunity to race again, due to both the fire and lack of similar class competitors following the event. Experience an alternate history for the 961 as it races against other race cars of the era.

Mid-Engine Porsche

Although the 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 runs on a 911 Engine, it’s a third-generation mid-engine Porsche that gave an alternative to the base 911 of that era. With its front suspension lifted directly from a Porsche GT3 along with its higher tuned horsepower, it provides a hefty base for the Cayman platform. Not many of these were made, so hop into this car and give it a spin against competitors of the mid-2010s.

Rear-Engine Porsche

Considered the ultimate expression for the 911 factory racecar of the 1970s, the 1978 Porsche #78 MOMO 935/78 is a unique car in Porsche Motorsport history and was well known for its new at the time rear end design. Housing not only an engine, but radiators that cooled the cylinder heads mounted ahead of the rear wheels, and an adjustable wing that was set above the engine. While it raced only a few times on the track, the 935/78 made its mark in the 1978 Silverstone six-hour race where it outperformed its competitors by a wide margin to secure its drivers a first-place result.

Porsche Tour Reward

Complete all four series in the Porsche Tour in Career before May 21, 2025, to unlock the new-to-Motorsport 1981 Porsche #1 Porsche System Engineering 924 GTP Le Mans from the Challenge Hub. This car is also obtainable by completing 10 races in the Porsche Motorsport Series in Featured Multiplayer.

    • Races will now always start at 75% rubbered in (previously 66%)
  • Updated default track rubbering-in behavior in Featured Rivals events to align with behavior in Open Class Time Attack Rivals events:
    • Track rubbering will remain at 100% along the driveline from the start of ALL Rivals event (existing functionality)
    • To ensure fairness, rubber will no longer build up outside of the driveline over time, regardless of how much the player has driven around the track in ALL Rivals events

Featured Multiplayer [All Platforms]

  • Added new Porsche Mission R Spec Series to the one-make series rotation
  • Removed the following cars from the Forza GT3 Series eligible car list with plans for a future release of dedicated series to more accurately reflect their usage in real-world motorsport:
    • 2018 Lamborghini #63 Squadra Corse Huracán Super Trofeo Evo
    • 2015 Lamborghini #63 Squadra Corse Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo
    • 2017 Ferrari #25 Corse Clienti 488 Challenge

The highlight cars is the MOMO 935 Moby D, the 961 which I had a feeling that was coming, the 992 GT3 R and the Pink pig 917/20 coming back. That being said why another 935/78 which has no livery on it and not a 935/K2 or 3 from the same era? Why a Cayman GT4 base model and not the GT4 Clubsport for the underrepresented GT4 class? Still no 917k :face_with_diagonal_mouth: and no livery for the 924 GTX car. Half good and half bad update car wise. Either way I’ll enjoy it until Fujimi Kaido update next month.

Need another Porsche Motorsports update or expansion asap. Also, it’s been stated before, but the 996-Present gen GT Porsches are criminally underrated.

Stop FOMO it is 100% predatory for new and returning player

Hopefully this lack of bug fixes indicates they are holding them back for update 20 and possibly testing them better.

Or not. Time will tell.

The fact that Rivals now have Spec BoP makes me hopeful that it’s coming to Private Multiplayer and Free Play soon.

Bug fixes? Nahh. Game’s already reached EOL. All that’s coming is the track next month and useless additions.

No FRR improvments. No balance changes to race tires vs sport tires, e.g. mandatory pit stops. No PI balance of the open lobby meta cars.
But hey, atleast we get more FOMO content…
As i expected, its another bad update that doesnt fix the big issues the game has.. instead they keep pushing out FOMO content like their game is fine!
Will T10 ever drop an update that isnt disappointing?

As we told you a few weeks ago, our 20th anniversary update is coming in May featuring the return of a track considered legendary in the Forza community: Fujimi Kaido! It will arrive alongside new-to-Motorsport cars, driver suits and special in-game events themed around the history of Forza Motorsport games.

Still no mention about any new special features coming to the game, like Creative Hub or permament expansion of the career mode. I’m afraid it’ll be just another content pack (possibly with some cool nostalgic cars matching those events “themed around the history of Forza Motorsport games” alongside Fujimi Kaido) with minimal changes to the gameplay itself. I hope I’m wrong though…

Still no fix for Performance RT cockpit reflections on Series X…

Really hoping for some actual gameplay content for next update. Constantly getting new cars and minor bug fixes is barely keeping this game alive. I want to see more improvements to existing game features, like the weather in freeplay or more car models for classes in mp, like the empty GT4 class.
Fujimi Kaido will just be a short trip down memory lane if there won’t be any improvements to existing gameplay features.

We’ve already seen a bunch of good updates with good improvements and new features like drift mode. I say what I’ve been saying since release, this game has serious potential, you just gotta use it!

RT Reflections ARE STILL BROKEN SINCE UPDATE 13.

I think one 935/78 would have suffice. Could have had a number of other race cars, like the 919 EVO maybe.

Personally, I don’t care for the 992 Turbo S when there’s already the 992 GT3, the 992 GT3 RS, and the 992 Carrera S. At least make it one of the AWD, or one of the new hybrids. Something different.

Cayman 981 GT4, when we already have the 981 GTS. This could have been a the fourth GT4 racecar. Or better yet, a Ruf CTR Anniversary.

I don’t mind the 961, 924 and 935 in the absolute. It just would have been nice to rework the GTX division, because it just keeps getting messier.

And overall, after BMW, yet another manufacturer that’s already very well represented getting even more attention. That’s my hot takes for this update.

Have to agree. Was hoping for the 917K or the return of the 98 GT1. But I do appreciate the GT3R though. Really waiting for word on the next update. That one has my interest.

IMO the Spec Rivals is a huge addition. The class based Rivals before made zero sense because cars could be upgraded to different classes, which completely defeated the purpose of having Rivals all together in my opinion.

yes i never really did rivals and i don’t usually do open multiplayer events because the cars are to diverse to have good racing (some have horsepower and no brakes and vice versa) so to have spec rivals is very fun and a big improvement.
