So we are having now 660 Cars in the game. Isnt that the limit of the garage?
What happens if i have 660 cars and do the showcase with one of the unique reward cars?

Assuming tyre wear multiplier is unchanged then presumably it means that the lightweight, already meta, cars will be able to survive on soft tyres but most others will have to move to mediums.

More time between races I’m in favour of, in fact I asked for it with a thread in Suggestions Hub: Featured Multiplayer - Entries for Short races close 2 minutes too early (1912216)

Didn’t expect Short races to get longer but I guess I’ll see after a few sessions if I like it or not.

I reckon Medium and Long races might get extended by a few minutes in the future to keep the gaps consistent, though if I remember rightly the gap between Short and Medium race lengths was 7 minutes (8 vs 15) at launch compared to the 10 (10 vs 20) it is now.

Three things spring to mind:

  1. It probably increases the gap between meta options and the rest. AWD/FWD/heavy car options will be unworkable as they will need to be on sports/meds whilst the lightweight Monacos etc will still survive on softs;

  2. People built sport tyre builds previously, then switched them to race tyres and are now being put to time and effort to probably rebuild them once again for Open races;

  3. The competitive side of the player base maintains leaderboards of the best lap times which are now set on soft tyres and will either need to be reset completely or possibly people will do unnecessary tyre changes just to run softs at the end of a race and set fast lap times.

The changes also mean that you will definitely miss a race if you enter the one before, whereas before you could do both. For example, current race starts at 7.06pm, next one at 7.17pm, so you won’t make that after the results etc. It will be the 7.28pm one, with about 10 minutes of practice time, which isn’t needed.

Honestly, has this change been considered with the Insiders and the benefits set out, because it looks badly thought out on first view?

Am I the only one who has 5 people in all lobbies after the update?

Today in addition to the content update we’ve made improvements to multiplayer matchmaking. Please report your experience in this feedback topic:

Still no option to get rid of the ridiculous looking body kits on the AI in freeplay….that sucks! At least we got the Lambo LMDH car. Looking forward to that.
