Understeering - steering wheel will NOT turn more than 20% at speeds above 10mph

Ok here’s a problem with ALL Forza games - chronic understeering as a result of faulty game design rather than faulty tuning setting.

To illustrate what I mean, try this: turn on telemetry and make sure you can see the steering wheel in telemetry as you drive.

You will notice that if you’re going faster than say 10mph, no matter what you do with your game options or tuning setup, the steering wheel will NOT turn by more than about 15-20% from center.

The ONLY way to turn the steering wheel all the way left or right is to slow down below 10mph or so.

Has anyone tried to address this problem in the past?

It seems a simple update to increase the steering wheel range limit at high speed would fix this game-breaking mechanic.

Since no one decided to take the time to answer I will, this is by design, not a flaw. ON A CONTROLLER if you were to have a 1:1 stick to wheel rotation you would be understeering atrociously. The game would likely be unplayable unless you were a joy stick god. when your a wheel user this assist is automatically removed and understeer can be felt through the force feedback. Which is why I’m a wheel user because you get the full experience from the game. I hope that answered your inquiry.

I think sim steering might get you a little more angle and responsiveness but I can’t tell you for sure.

I see what you’re saying but any understeer I receive is down to my driving rather than the games steering range.
