And I’m getting 10K credits for coming in first each race? Unbelievable. It truly is. Considering how much the first place Drivatar is rubber banded, I really should be getting a bit more pence at the end of each race. If I’m beating 70s muscle cars that can magically take corners on icy roads at 50 MPH+ without any issues, I need to be paid or rewarded accordingly.
Your difficulty and assists payout is seperate to your placing. The amount you get for placing 1st doesn’t change no matter the difficulty level, but under it you’ll get another payout which is based if your difficulty
You have to run longer races for better payouts. Just running 3 laps in a 5 minute race isn’t going to net you much. I normally run between 10-20 laps on my races, and rack in around 90-120k a race with assist bonuses.
Side comment on the cars:
On rail bot cars though I do agree with complaints. Titan with offroaders is zero fun at all. The comment that muscle cars are taking corners? So what. The issue isn’t that they are taking it fast, it is that they are looking stock while going fast. It isn’t hard to make a vintage car handle. In fact, it is quite easy to make one “outhandle a WRX” from plug and play performance parts. Many forget that the old muscle cars are not heavy like people think. They are quite light for their size. Compare size for size. Poor handling in them at the time really was mostly tires/brakes and old style suspensions which dollar for dollar isnt expensive.
Take the Nova SS, it is not much different in weight from the 04 impreza. Nova is 1,427 vs 1,483 for the 04 STI. The older ones are lighter with the 98 at 1,270. But then factor in car performance class. Take the Either at a B class. 100 points of work for that nova just in handling is going to surprise you quite readily. Try it for yourself. Plus they have more powerful engine and way more powerful torque. So if you matched em, The nova SS will have surprisingly strong handling, but take more focus to drive due to oversteer.
As for payout, like others say. Difficulty is a modifier and it reasonably matches the scaling in difficulty for the race. Take the 10% reduction in bonus pay and have it 10% easier.
Come on… Forza is literally the most rewarding economy ever. You can flip cars on the auction house, share tunes, paint and do the weeks Forza welfare (Forza rewards) to get money.
Not mentioning wheelspins and loyalty rewards. You 10K with all the other ways to warn cash is too generous imo. In 10 races you have enough for a supercar and then some when you factor in wheelspins.
