Lastnight i was prompted to do an update for Xbox one and shortly after Tried playing Forza 5 and was told it was Syncing usually this loads up quickly without any Problems but this time it Took a long time and once done was told it could not be synced and was given an error Code 80004005 .I then contacted Microsoft support and ran through all troubleshooting steps with them with no Result after that i decided to goto bed and try today. ive just tried to sync again and it did it very quickly but its started right from very begining my Question is have i lost everything and should i just start again i was level 1049 had just over 36 million credits vip pass and Lce content feeling Gutted here have Contacted Turn10 via Email and hope to hear something soon has anybody else had this problem???
Curious, after update from Microsoft for X1, did it make your NAT strict? For some reason it made mine strict. I noticed yesterday when I was checking out everything update added (i love using my 4TB external hdd). Mine shouldn’t have been strict with port forwarding & assigned IP addy. I completely turned off console (no instant on) then back on & my NAT was back open. I seem to remember some people on the forums saying they have problems syncing with cloud because of their NAT being moderate or strict. I haven’t played FM5 in a few days, so I don’t know what would have happened yesterday with my NAT being strict for that brief moment. Glad I didn’t.
From now on, whenever there is a Microsoft update, I’ll make sure my NAT is still open. However, this update was the first time the update made my NAT strict for some reason.
