for 2 days now I’ve been unable to access any rivals events or the leader boards in Forza 7 and I’m unable to access any multiplayer events I’m only having these issues with Forza every other game on my console can access multiplayer services.

Have you already tried ye olde full reboot? And the secondary standard resetting of the modem and routers?
yes I’ve tried everything apart from reinstalling the game and at just shy of 100 gb download i don’t really want to have to do that
DO NOT reinstall your game. It is obvious there is a problem somewhere either on the servers or Xbox Live itself.
Years ago, people were complaining they couldn’t get into the (then current) game. Nothing showed as a problem for others, Xbox Live wasn’t having issues, and it all came down to one of the backbone DNS servers of a major Internet Service Provider (ISP). It had gone haywire and anyone fed through that specific server to a specific location by any ISP was not able to connect. Other games on Xbox Live worked just fine.

I’m not getting any messages or rewards through but rivals and multiplayer are at least working
Couple days ago messages did work again, for a 1 day. Now it went back to not working. And last night fm7 servers or something prevented any online activity. In fm6 I was able to race normally.
When i launch the game i need to wait 5 minutes before to have acces to multiplayer/auction house/rivals … tried to clean the cache, reboot of the rooter but without result. (and i have a good connection) i have this issue only with Forza 7, H1/H2/H3/F5/F6 are working good.
In the same time waiting 5 minutes it’s not really a prob, but it’s just strange. 
I’ve been hit and miss all weekend with online multiplayer/leagues. I’ve seen this in the past and bet Snowowl is correct.
They’ll find it and it will get fixed, but probably not until the work week. At least FM7 has a good career mode to keep me entertained. Although I am wondering how my auctions fared as I was able to start one but not able to go back to the auction house to collect car or credits.
