Ultimate Edition Crown

Recently my ultimate edition crown flair changed to the basic crown. All the ultimate add ons are still installed and I’m using Xbox One X. Anyone have a fix for this?

Could you please leave this thread open? I realize I could submit a ticket but from my experience so far that won’t be of any help. I’m hoping someone from the community has the answer.

Didnt realize there was a different crown
The only crown i knew of was the VIP crown…no ultimate crown…and that some people had theres upside down lol

I figured that the upside down ones were for those players in the southern hemisphere . (lol)

The VIP crown is just the shape. The ultimate crown has a few accents.

I’ve learned something new today. Is this new to FH4?

I was sceptical but I just looked at some screenshots I have saved and I see you’re right, some have the crown, others have it with the accents.

So even if you buy the VIP now, you’re really just a second class VIP… lmao. I’ve always bought VIP when it’s been discounted before but I don’t think I will this time. (Never has VIP offered so little and this is the icing on the cake.)

Your account is showing as not Ultimate, but moreso that you’ve bought the VIP as a separate pass. (e.g Standard game + VIP pass) rather than just buying the Ultimate Edition of the game.
However it is a little strange that you have said that this has ‘changed.’

Have you got any images or evidence of your username showing the crown before and after the change?

I’d advise that you should submit that video to your already made ticket. Don’t make a new ticket as it could cause you to be in the backlog

I have no evidence of my crown showing as shaped one before, i can give any proofs i bough ULTIMATE EDITION and not just the Game + pass, because i have already 3 ppl that confirmed that they also do have default crown, all 3 people are steam ultimate owners

I preordered the ultimate edition and when I checked the microsoft store last night to make sure everything was still installed, it said I owned the ultimate. It seems strange that you can’t see that.

I’m on my way to work so I’ll check later to see if any of my screenshots include my tag.

I appreciate and understand that you can’t do anything further but I have exactly zero hope that it will ever be fixed by submitting a ticket. I’d love to be proven wrong.

Truthfully I don’t think the image of the crown will be a high priority, however it might just be a matter of making sure its recognizing you as a Ultimate VIP.
I’m sure support will answer your ticket soon

I agree. The crown shouldn’t be a high priority but the fact that what version of the game someone has can be changed either by an update glitch or just randomly should be a pretty big concern to the team.

Is a pixel crown that important?
I have the boring old VIP crown, it could flip upside down and turn bright pink and it wouldn’t effect my game one bit.
Might hurt my ego a little bit at the mist, and even that would be highly unlikely.

I’d like it to be the way it’s supposed to be but no, it’s not that important but it’s an indication that something has gone wrong. Maybe it means that when the next expansion comes out I won’t get it or maybe I’ll lose access to something else that I’ve payed for by buying that edition of the game.

Not that it makes much difference
The only thing owing on the Ultimate edition is expansion 2 which should already show as installed ( placeholder anyway)

I was wondering if anyone ever found a fix for this. I’ve had the game since launch and recently got a Xbox Series X and installed FH4. It seems as if everything else is ok with the VIP perks except the crown has reverted back to the basic crown. Any help would be appreciated.

It happened 2 or 3 times on my One X and always just corrected itself after a couple of days. I got a Series X at launch and the crown has been the basic one since I’ve had it. When I upgraded, I copied the game from an external drive and let it update. I’ve wondered if deleting the game and re-downloading from the store would fix it but I haven’t bothered to try.

It’s a glitch for series x users, no fix from what I understand. Everyone I know with an X has the same issue
