UI - 0 segment score (1633670)

When using the starter car im getting segment scores, when i use a car from the early access car pack the score is always 0. I even crashed on the laguna seca corkscrew in the civic and still got a score of 1.
Any one else had this issue or just me.

Also tried in freeplay and the cups.

On all first begin, wrong audio file for Mustang and other cars, when go back an want to choose other car

On second race, car level raise is ok, but always 0.0 segment points…

I have the same problem on PC (windows store).
It happened whilst playing the second builders cup tour and in free play.

I believe this issue occured after turning off some of the car progression and race progress messages (HUD settings). I will play around with this later today. Maybe someone else can try this too?

Also have the same issue, and I believe you are right in saying it is due to turning it off in the HUD, I did the same. HUD is fairly cluttered.

Full restart of the game did not seem to fix the 0.0 segment score either

PC on Steam.

Do you know which setting it is?

It really is! I don’t care about the track scoring or car level. Race data like distance to car ahead I do like.

The car progression is what segment score affects I believe, so maybe turning that off in HUD settings did it, but I also turned everything else in the HUD off. I’ve turned it back on and still 0. It’s definitely bugged, because I don’t get the good/great turn bonuses.

Just played the game again. After the PC being turned off and me changing no settings, suddenly the messages have gone. I now get no segment scores (which is what I wanted).

The segment points are always displayed with 0.0 but the autolevel increases anyway

I had to back to gameplay and hud settings and reset to default, its been working fine. Just alot of clutter on screen now

On my freeplay races I have been experiencing 0.0 segment scores for the last couple races. No matter how I corner. And before today I have seen 1.0 be the lowest. But I am leveling very slowly and having 0.0 always.

0.0 segment scores, settings reset dont figured out issue pc steam

Today when I started playing I am only getting a 0.0 segment rating. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, so I thought I would bring it up. It could just be a visual glitch.

Series S
Segment score only shows as 0.0 even after multiple resets (and crashes)

Yep me too always 0.0 with every car on every track in every mode. I have disable it at first. Rstore the settings dont work.

I thought I had it fixed, when I went to main root menu, reset my settings there, then went back to free play to practice in test drives, it worked for first car selected. But then I changed cars and it stoppped working again. I miss the simple “good” “perfect” notifications of fm7.

Same - was working fine and got the achievement for the perfect 10. Then decided the hud was too cluttered and changed some settings and now even though I’ve turned car progress back on I get 0 for each and every segment! Doesn’t seem to impact car progression though - just wish I could get rid of the sector score entirely

This is still an issue. With the car leveling system as it is I’m sure earning a 0.0 through every segment is definitely not helping my car progression.

Same happened to me on my first play. I disabled the HUD data to have the cockpit view as clean as possible, and I realized that disable those hud elements disable the progression system aswell.

Turned back on and it restablishes the progression system and it start counting, but with many still things on the HUD, so we cannot have a more “pure” driving experience without disable one key feature in the game…

This issue was addressed in Update 3.0:

  • Fixed an issue causing Track Mastery corner segments to display a completion score of 0.0 if Track Mastery is disabled in the Gameplay & HUD settings.
