TX Wheel, am I the only one?

Hey guys.

I just had my last TX wheel replaced because one of the motors was ticking, and at around 30-45 degrees of rotation there was a kind of notchy/clicking feeling accompanied with a quiet but audible click/notch noise.
Now after getting my replacement and opening it up, the brand new wheel (in aus our warranty deal is a full replacement, just box the whole package up and get a new box from the retailer you bought it from, that’s how aus consumer rights works for the most part). Anyways, opened it up, updated it, bolted it all into my next level wheel stand and what do you know. It has a notch at 30-45 degrees, no clicking, but there’s definitely a notch. Not as profound as before but it is definitely there in this wheel.
I thought maybe it was the next level wheel stand, so I took it off and clamped it to a coffee table. Very awkwardly using my pedals still on the wheel stand and the coffee table next to me I tested in a straight line swerving around, and the click was still there.
So it’s definitely something going on in the base, so I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the same thing? Or next time you go to use your wheel think about it and see if you have it happening. I don’t know if it is something that happens by design or if it is yet another faulty base.

It’s a feature. Mine does exactly the same thing, but it only does it when powered on. With the power off it feels quite smooth. It may be some form of tensioner or detente mechanism. Who knows, haven’t seen inside one of these things as yet.

Yep. Only happens when the force feedback is going? For me it happens at around 30-45 degrees of rotation of fighting the force feedback. For example when I changed the linearity the clicking happened much further into rotation, but it was still 30-45 degrees beyond when the force feedback really got into it.
