Please Please tell me where, in Forza5 or Xbone setting I can turn off the stupid auto default activated Party Chat ???
I DO NOT want to be a “Party” on my own - I want to hear what they are saying about my driving in a Multiplayer hopper lobby, but every time I join a lobby - after “Leaving” a party before joining multiplayer, the stupid thing puts me back in one.
Can anyone help?
Xbox One is releasing a new update concerning a lot of the party issues but this seems to be pretty much on you lol… You can either leave party completely or stay in party and turn off party chat, which is what my friends and I do, pretty simple.
Sorry my post was not clear - I do leave party chat - but every time I re-enter multiplayer it turns itself back on. I’d rather it didn’t.
On further investigation, I’m not sure if it sometimes puts me in my own party with party chat switched on, and sometimes with the party chat switched off, so that I can hear/chat in the lobby.
Would be much clearer/simpler if it did nboit create the ‘party’ by default.
Trust me. You don’t want to know what people are saying about your driving 
in a lobby with you earlier tonight, your name keeps flashing meaning you are definitely in game chat. Its the rest of the players that are in party chat.
voices are much clearer in party chat, and you tend not to get 2 or 3 different groups of people talking over each other.
i think it shows you as being in a party so that your friends may join your game
Your driving is fine as is everyone at PIT. Had many a happy race with you guys so no need to say more
