My horizon game keeps giving me disc unrecognizable. Say to clean with soft cloth.
I have only played it 17 times and it has no scratches on it at all.
Every other game I have works fine. Is there a way to get a replacement disc.
I paid 79.00 for the version I have and I am very careful with my discs to ensure they don’t
Get scratched. What are my options?
I would say to be honest get a new one. Second hand copies of the game must go pretty cheap now as it is an older game.
To be fair mine stays in my disc tray 99 percent of the time. Being that for the record I’m second in the world for online xp. I only say that to make it clear how much I have played. Yet mine still has issues. It has no scratches whatsoever on it but my xbox clunks and makes funny noises trying to load it. All other games are fine. However halo 4 does the same thing.
My problem is solved by ejecting the disc and reloading it then it’s fine. The same applies to halo 4.
I would argue that maybe these later games are just a lot for the 360 to handle and maybe the issue is if your disc drive or lens isn’t up to scratch it just won’t play.
Have you tried spraying some canned air into the open tray.? And or using a cd lens cleaner.

Try Sarahs suggestions - do you have any issues with other discs too?
IF/when you get it working install the game on your HDD as well as it reduces the load on the drive and minimizes the problems caused by dirty/scratched discs. If you can’t get that disc working borrow one and use it to install the game and then see if that disc will run enough to let the game boot up.

you can wait for the digital version to go on sale also, i did that and returned my disc to amazon for a full refund, since the disc cost more that time anyway
Looks like I’m having this issue too. decided to boot up the game since I hadn’t played it much, but tried to select disc(only getting ‘eject’ option). all other games show up fine. was there some kind of print issue on the original ones sold(i had preordered mine, and played it VERY minimally)…
I’ve heard others complaining about this same problem, seems to be happening a lot more often now
Go through every saved file on you HDD and make sure none of them are corrupted, for some reason corrupted files cause problems with drives reading discs.
PS -When say every saved file, I don’t just mean game saves. Check everything individually on your HDD, it was a corrupted avatar clothing item that caused my problems.
