Tuning recognition

Trying to get a little more recognition for some of my Tunes on FM5.

I’m no master tuner by any means but my tunes sure seem to do well in most lobbies. I don’t do leaderboard cars but most of my lobby times end up anywhere between 500-1500 on most tracks.

On FM4 I wasn’t well known but I did have the odd few tunes with over 100+ downloads on them, FM5 I can’t even seem to get 1+ download on my cars…I Blame the missing storefront for that but that’s just me!

So my best tunes are;

2005 Subaru Impreza STI - C500 - Quick on most tracks for mainly grip but decent speed down the straightaways to keep up with most cars.
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII - C500 - Speed Build but also good for sweeping corners (Silverstone springs to mind)
Lancia 037 Integrale - C500 - Grip Tune - Holds a top 100 time on Mazda Laguna Seca last time I checked, could have had a slight fall from grace as that time was set during a Lobby Race

Gamertag is TOMWHITTY same as on here

Go check them out, tell me what you think, any advice on how to improve would be greatly appreciated also! I will be adding more soon, currently working on an new version SVT Cobra (I forget the year) for acceleration on Sebring so keep a heads up for that too!

Thanks

P.S with the Scooby and EVO I would advise upshifting just before 6000RPM to get the quick laps otherwise the Torque drops.

1.6L should be shifted at 5500 rpms. :wink:

Not sure how much use you’ll get since many don’t like using that motor since it’s the C class leaderboard motor. However the v8 swaps don’t seem to get as much hate. Odd I know.

I tried shifting at 5500 but it seemed a little to short around some of the sweeping corners such as Spa. I tend to shift from anything between 5500 & 5700 so not too big of a gap, just 5700 seems to give that little extra time to prolong the gear around a fast corner instead of unnecessary upshifts and downshifts.

Will be trying to V8’s soon thanks for advice.

Spa is weird. Never quite figured that motor out there. Normally you want to be in no lower than 4th gear but I find I use 3rd sometimes.

Yea the v8 is heavily used. I think that’s only because the shifting isn’t weird. Lol.
