Tuning CAP (RANT)

(RANT)
Found this very annoying that Me … a new tuner… has already hit the tuning cap and I have not even tuned 1/4 of the cars that I own in the game. I should be able to share at least 3 tunes for every car that I have in the game.

Can we please get this limit moved up or make it save the tunes somewhere else and only worry about the ones that we are sharing for the limit. Something… This is just crazy…

Please if you agree with me guys comment on here letting Turn 10 know that we need this changed.

Some of my favorite tuners are always saying that they have hit their cap and will not be able to make a tune for a certain car because they do not want to delete a tune to share another. This is just not right.

RANT OVER!

The only solution I’ve found to the cap is open source or private message tunes for those who want them. Is the Cap system fair? Yes, only in the sense that it is the same for everyone.

C’mon T10, there shouldn’t be a cap on anything, this is “Next Gen” right? But really, I hope this update comes out ASAP so I can throw out more tunes and not have to delete everything…

Maybe there should be an option to store them locally and swap tunes to the store front as you’d like. Thus just a limit on the store and not the total tunes you can have in game.

Does anyone know if this has been looked at before? Thoughts?

There should be local storing and they can still limit the amount “shared”

You could always buy another car and build the tune on it when you run out of tune file saves

We definitely need more slots.

There are workarounds but none are ideal.

Just having the tune sitting on a car is fine until you have a few cars where you want a few different tunes.

I have 3 Caterhams in A class but I forget which is which without looking at the settings or checkign replays to see which paintjob I ran where for example.

Same with the photography Cap. I’ve had to delete many good photos to be able to enter into Photocomps

yeah….I wish they’d just work on a couple of the obvious game killers and take a break from car packs for a month. As it is now, there are about the same amount of cars as the cap I think.I think the cap is around 240 but Worm should know.I know this probably should be in the main section but I hardly ever go there.

Cap is 300.

Why is there a cap?

Did Turn 10 create the cap intentionally, or was it an oversight?

Why is there a cap on number of tunes? Has the latest update fixed this?

Why is there a cap and when does Turn 10 plan on fixing it? I spent an hour last night just going through old cars finding / deleting tunes. If it’s done on purpose, then I can’t understand why. If it’s a bug, then failing to fix it thus far is a giant F you to the most devoted players.

Im fine with a cap but cant it at least be doubled? There are more and more DLC cars being added and how is it possible to have a tune for every car if there is more cars than the cap limit?

Is it possible to buy more tuning spots? I’d happily pay for more.
