Back in my days, companies would put the code INSIDE the packaging, so you had to open it in order to retrieve the code. It’s not some lost technology.
This whole “you can’t get the code from the product” discussion made me think that all these additional steps were created because there is actually only one code. At least, that’s how the company I work at does things. Since you can’t get it easily, you feel less inclined to share it with others, so nobody will ever find out.

There isn’t one code. That’s not how Xbox codes work. It’s a unique code for each user. If it was only one code, only one person would be able to get the car, because once the code is used, that’s it. It cannot be used again.
A code can have multiple uses by itself, but be limited to one use per user. If free online store systems can let you configure some codes to be like that, and others to be unique, then I’m sure Xbox back-end could too. Just saying it’s not impossible.

Well I finally got my code but the email says absolutely nothing about what to do if you bought the game on Steam, it’s Xbox this and Microsoft that. I’ve no idea what I’m supposed to do here.
Edit: I actually found something for Steam users!
Q: I would like to exchange my Xbox code for a Steam code.
A: Please email support@dailybreak.com to request a Steam-eligible code for the 1962 Peel P50 Trolli Edition.

I must text the brother, he’s probably thirsty
The Toyota land cruiser is part of a Fanta promotion that was revelaed by xbox 3 or 4 hours ago as of posting this
Yeah about that what challenges do we have to complete in order to get them? Or is it just the same thing as the Trolli thing? I live in the USA just to let everyone know incase if anyone can help me out
also over on R/ForzaHorizon people were saying that it’s supposedly be a worldwide promotion
Got my code for the Trolli exchanged for a Steam code earlier today, was a prompt response. I made sure to include my Xbox code in the email so they knew it was a legitimate request. Since instructions on what to do weren’t included, here’s how you activate it:
Go to your Steam Library, look at the bottom left for a plus mark and ‘Add a Game.’
Pick ‘Activate a product on Steam.’
Drop in your code and get a Peel.

Finally got the code and I already have the download waiting for launch day. This saga is now, at least for me, thankfully over.

Bought two packs of Trolli at the grocery store today. Submitted my receipt for use on my PC laptop and put the other receipt by my son’s desktop for redemption with his Steam copy of FH6.
Looked in m spam folder and saw that my Trolli code had been received. Only took to days. I need to see if my son got his and if he has sent the request to have the code changed for a Steam code.
