Hi everyone! I will be posting my Open Source tunes on cars once again. I have no idea what happen to my last thread I had for them but it appears to be wiped from planet forza. Anyway I will be revamping my new and improved tunes for people to use. Some lobby and some leaderboard cars will be posted on here! ALSO I do have a youtube channel Craviator - YouTube which I will be posting builds on what to look and what not to look for on cars, run through on tunes. As well track guides, going through each aspect on corners. If you want to keep track on that as, click the subscribe button and I will be posting videos on all that has been said above in not so distance future!
Thank you very much! The first open sources will be here very soon (again)
I don’t know you at all, but feel like I do because I am so used to seeing your name on the first page of most of the leaderboards. I’m getting much better at tuning, but being able to compare my tunes against someone with times as yourself is a going to be awesome. Seriously, thanks a lot for doing this man.
You know what I mean with that smirk…
I expected more from you, copying and pasting my template is just lazy!
At least when everyone sees it, it has my effort put into it! Hahaha…
Times: 35th Road America 2.04.931
38th Road Atlanta 1.19.436 (Has done 1.18.9)
Desc: This is a good lobby car, its something different plenty of rear grip and enough horseys to get you going! Also have it on Sharefront if you don’t want to build it up.
Times: Road America 2.16.271 (Uncertified) Road America (Also will get into 2.15.xx) #1 - 1.12.813 Yas Marina North #2 - 1.12.859
Desc: This is one of my keep sake tunes, (the build does vary however). This will basically get you moving along the leaderboard. This is specifally for longer/acceleration tracks. Also IF this car seems to oversteer (I don’t know how but if it does) bring back the ARB rear to around 25.00.
Times: 1.33.0 Indy
1.01.3 Prague Short Reverse
1.30.4 Road Atlanta Full
Desc: This is such a fun little car to drive. It has plenty of grip (To me) and is super stable. Great power, can be a good lobby car or a good leaderboard car.
Craviator, again thanks for sharing. I just built up the 33 Stradale and I keep coming up with a PI of A604 (versus B600). However, if I change either the Fuel System to Sport (-7 hp, yet not weight increase), or, the Pistons to Sport (-6 hp, with 2 lb increase) I can get to B600. Or, did I miss something? Please let me know when you get a chance. Again, thanks!
Thanks! None of the ones you pointed were the issue. I did find my culprit though, it was that front tire width which should had been stock (I had put both F/R to max width and should only be the rear at max).
Wow - I love the Alpha. Set all kinds of PB tonight. Silverstone National, Road Atlanta, and Laguna Seca.
For Laguna Seca, I was wanting more grip and less top speed, so I removed “Pistons and Compression: Race” and made that stock, and then bumped up the tire level by one (Street tires?). Left everything else exactly the same (including tune). Just got 40th on the LB for Laguna Seca and broke into the 1:32:xxx range for first time. Just this past weekend I was struggling / lucky to get in 1:33:xxx - this time, nearly every lap was in that range.
I think Road Atlanta will also benefit from more grippy build - with normal build I was hitting 159mph down that long straight - with more grip build I was hitting 153mph. But was killing it in the corners. I’ll try setting a better time later this week. I did break into the top 100, which was my goal.
As far as original build - somewhere in the low 30s on LB for Silverstone National. Broke into the 00:58:xx territory for first time. And look forward to trying it on Road America.
Thank you very much for posting. I’m not that great a driver at all, but was getting in top 50 on LB, and the car is a blast to drive. I’ve tried dozens of tunes for this car, and this is hands down my favorite.
Hi Zippy! Thank you so much for the great feedback! I’m glad that this your favourite one! I just checked the build again, and whatever I have stated up on the forum is the correct build. There is NO ROLLCAGE. I’ve also edited out the Rear ARB.
