The second generation Starlet is one of the last rear-wheel-drive hatchbacks Toyota made. While not a fast car from the factory, it has been a successful and a very popular rally car in Finland to this day, thanks to its front-engined RWD layout and short wheelbase. People usually swap the Starlet’s 2K/4K engine for a modified 4A-GE engine to give it more power.

Starlet had different trim models and body styles, but if it was put in the game, I’d say the 3-door Sprint trim is the best option as it’s the sportiest version of the car. Add an option for a widebody, ducktail spoiler and rally modifications, plus adding the ability to swap the 1.6 liter 4A-GE or a 2.0 liter naturally aspirated engine (K20) and it’s a fantastic little gravel rocket!
