I’ve been tinkering with gear ratios for a while now, and have had no luck. I’m in need of some gearing help on the Toyota GT 1 Roadcar
What I’m looking for : 4-6 Gears with around 228-230 MPH .
Platform and handling is fine, just need the juice to get around the track
Any help would be appreciated, feel free to leave a message here or PM me. Thanks
Depending on your car’s power to weight ratio you’re only going to get so much more torque to the rear wheels. Reset your default gears then go to the final drive. Mess around with that at the same time going to bench mark checking the top end 0-60 and 0-100. When you’ve got that squared away go to your gears. Hope this helps. Are you talking JDM or street cars? Another thing you’re not going to get that kind of performance out of that car. It’s best attribute is the car’s handling. It’s ability to take corners faster than most cars in it’s class. The car performs best on more technical tracks like the Ring.
After messing with the gears for a little bit, i’ve seemed to better my issue. Thanks for the help, if i have any questions i’ll be sure to post
