Is it just me or has anybody else noticed that tire wear, at least on the E21 has gotten updated? To do an actual full Gran Prix a pit stop is now needed! Thanks Turn 10 for listening! The tire wear could be a little worse but at least now you can’t run a full race without having to factor in a pit stop, its awesome!

Thats pretty cool. It would be neat if Pitting was a factor in the ‘endurance’ races online.
Join a league. Most leagues do a 1 pit mandatory.
Mandatory pit stops are pointless because there is no consequence for stopping early. If tires don’t fall off then there is no point.
I agree with mandatory pit. Pit stops are meant to be strategic; to split up the stints between different tire compounds or saving up the tire so one can finish the race with fewer pit stops.
Only time the mandatory pit becomes important is when you are closely behind somebody then try to run the heck out of the car while the car in front pits. If that car ends up making a mistake on its outlap, you have the opportunity to leapfrog the car.
Comically, the gas tank is refueled whether I want it or not. The driving itself is really good but the actual simulation aspects of a race still has much to be desired . . .
