why does the tire temp. indicator not tell you when the tires are at temp? they go from cold to yellow or red. never show when they are at perfect temp.?
They do. You skipped a step. They don’t go straight from blue to yellow, but rather there is a stage in between. I forget if it’s gray or if it’s a clear outline of a tire on the graphic, but that’s optimum temperature.
If your referring to the gauge on the HUD it dose tell you when your tires are warmed up. It starts out blue the goes clear when warm then yellow or red when overheating. Now if your looking for something when the tires are up to pressure the telemetry is the only way. Pressures will always take about two plus full laps in order to achieve optimal setting.
