Has anyone been using different tire sizes? I have an alumi craft tune with upgraded tire sizes. When I saved it was at the top of a class. I switched to my b tune for a while. When I loaded the a tune again I was an s1. One point into the category. Found that it did not load my upgraded front tire size.
Looked at my shared tune and sure enough it was an s1 shared. Unshared it and put the tire upgrade back on.
Anyone else noticed this? Noticed other 01 tunes in different classes. Probably have a similar issue. I have not checked to see if it changed again.
I’ve been using different tire sizes quite a bit in tuning at A800. I’ve noticed the same results and don’t think it is a glitch. I think speed has more weight in the class rating than handling does. Or perhaps speed is more effected by the tire size. Anyways, going up in width increases handling and decreases speed so since there is a trade off your rating may go up or down depending on new stats. For rear tires I had thin tires put me at +2 points, down to +0 in the middle widths and back to +2 at the widest option. So far I’ve been using them to make us of that last point or 2 after other upgrades.
On a side note, I wish you could “add weight” to lower your class. Just like actual racing classes.

Rear aero and just turn it way down.
Heavier rims
Some cars- max the rim diameter on those heavier rims
But they’re all +1 to +3 PI points max and I’m finding lighter is almost always better
