Thrustmaster TX vs. $100 Spider wheel

First, I understand this might be moved to the hardware section, but for some reason I couldn’t find it from the list of forums. Sorry.

I wanted some help with these wheels… I think I understand the differences, just wanted to make sure. Is the following true:
“The TX Wheel has force feedback and metal covers over the pedals, while the $100 Spider wheel is no force feedback/rumble and no metal covers over the pedals.”?

I have the cheap MC2 by Madcatz for my Xbox 360 and Forza 4, but that also had rumble built into it. Do you think that I will have no road feel with the $100 Spider thrustmaster wheel? If there is no forcefeedback (which I have never used) and no vibration, then I will have to judge the loss of tractions by visuals and audio only. Even the controller has the rumble triggers now which I feel I might be depending on without knowing it.

I just dont want to spend $100 to make myself slower and not even enjoy the wheel the way it should be. That being said I had fun with my cheap madcatz wheel for Forza 4. Does anybody have any suggestions/ ideas?

Do youtself a favor and save for the TX,proper FFB is the only way to go,IMO.
