Thrustmaster Tx + gamepad issue

Hello,
I play Forza 5 (ordered F6) with my wife, until today we use the same profile and just take turns on races via the xbox one controller, now I decided to invest in a Thrustmaster TX wheel for myself, wife still wants to game with the controller, how do I set it up so we can continue to play like this, she tried to have her go and the controller while it could be used to navigate menu to next race on the circuit she has none all she can do is press the menu button to freeze the race.

Any ideas or advice ?

I think, if you press and hold the Xbox button and turn off controler then press the A buttonon the controller you want to use it switches… at least it does for me from gamepad to TX wheel. I never tried going back from wheel to gamepad though. Not sure it will help. GL
