Thrustmaster TX Force Feedback

Well I ended up updating the firmware. When I got into the game I set the rotation at 360 like always (with the remote, 2 flashes). I then went and set the sensitivity to 2, for some reason as soon as I change the sensitivity it seems to change the rotation settings too. When I go into the settings though it still shows it at 360, but drives like its somewhere around 540-900. Seems like that on all the different sensitivity settings, not sure why. It did solve that rocking back and forth issue, so thats nice. I guess now I just need to get used to turning the wheel some more. Did about 6 races with it like this, seems like it’ll be nice once I get the hang of it. Thanks for your guys help.

I need help as well. I’m having a hard time to control my steering especially on off roads (fields).

It’s my first time to use a wheel as well and I don’t know how to set the DORs and how do you set deadzones to 0?

The deadzones are set to 0 when you plug in the wheel anyway (except clutch I think) so don`t worry.
But to set/check stuff go to settings/controlls and press “x”. With “deadzone” ppl mean the inner range of settings.

As for having a hard time …it takes a while to get used to wheels, and I think Horizon might be a tough game to learn it due to traffic and usually not knowing the tracks.

My settings:
Vibration 90
FF: 50
Rot: 540 with sensitivity on the blinks 2x on the wheel.

i’m surprised some of you run the DOR so low… this game is pretty spot on at 900 degrees. 270 and 360 would be to unrealistic for me and to short

I just switched from the 458 spider (non-FFB) to the TX.
I’ve used older FFB on my pc…but WOW! What a difference!
Takes the game to a whole new level.
Glad I found this thread, both to learn what setting to mess with, and also I didn’t know I would need to update the firmware with a PC…
Good stuff, thanks all!
