Hey guys,
Got my Thrustmaster TX a few weeks ago from Australian importer, Pagnian Imports. I’ve been loving the wheel, I dabble in a bit of both drifting and racing and the feel of both is just awesome. Changing the steering angle on the fly is great for quickly going between racing GT2 cars and drifting built jdm cars. However the last couple days my wheel has seemed to develop a clicking noise. There are two types of this noise, one of them happens regardless of if the wheel is turned on or off, and its a separate noise to the motor spinning that you would hear straight out of the box. Its kind of a light clicking. The other usually happens after racing and when the force feedback is working, its almost like a big notch in the rotation and this you can actually feel it click when rotating the wheel.
Here’s some short clips of whats happening.

Edit:
Oh yeah, another thing is the wheel seems to just loose it’s mind sometimes. Not sure what causes it or anything. It’s especially noticeable when drifting but it seems the calibration completely goes off or something. Ffb is just wrong, and the wheel being in the same place as normal seems to have a different effect. It’s hard to explain but it just doesn’t feel right. Have to power cycle the wheel to fix.
