While playing through Horizon 2, what’s the best car you have gotten, in all around performance, and the most fun to drive. Also, don’t count upgrades since it isn’t the stock car.
Mine is the Mclaren P1.
I’m with you - I often like driving with no upgrades or light upgrades. Shame that so few will drive D and C class - there are some leaderboards with less than 150 times in D and C class … I’m assuming there are millions of copies out there and less than 150 people end up on that track with a D or C class car? /sigh
I like trying to keep the engine close to standard if possible, mainly playing with tyres or weight if I want to adjust the PI to nudge into the next class.
I’m an odd case because I am doing a staged approach to rivals - starting close to the base of the PI range for a class and slowly working my way up as much as possible.
I’ll eventually start doing wild and oddball upgrades for fun, probably when the new content well dries up.
I’m also reading this thread title as I would read Dynamite (Dyno-mite! lol)
I’m only lacking the 250 TR and DBR1 now, but I am finding these old race / GP cars are a blast.
Low grip, often low torque, high rev, high power, light weight, few gears - good fun.
250 GTO and Maserati 300S are a blast. Love the Shelby Daytona but haven’t used it as much as I would like I think.
Starting to come around to some of the muscle cars as they can be similiar to these old racers too - the '73 Trans Am has been very enjoyable.
We’ll see how many people do the challenge. I had a hard time viewing the leaderboards earlier because about half would not show my percentage and the total number of players. I chose ones where I had the least amount of friend on it. I’ll leave this here and post a thread to invite everyone.
In terms of all around performance, most fun, and best car, I’d have to say the 2005 Subaru. I like it in real life, I like it in Forza, and it does amazing in B, A, and S1 classes. It’s great across the range of all of its upgrades and that is rare in a car. For these reasons, I would say it is one of the best cars.
Not counting any upgrades and only the car in stock form, that may be a different story. I do really like the Beetle GRC, with no upgrades it is very fast, very easy to control, and it does exactly as you ask.
The 2002 Nissan Skyline GTR R34 from 2F2F converted to rear wheel drive and upgraded for drifting.Standard motor IS the best(Behold the RB26DETT)With my own paint job and tune!Check the storefront for my tune.
The 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is my “especiality”. Even though I’m a new guy to Forza Horizon 2 and will soon have the game and Xbox One console, I know the '69 R/T is my “partner”.
