Hello and welcome to the Gladiator photocomp. The comp will work in a head to head manner, with opponents being eliminated each round until there is one contestant left standing
How It Works
After sign up is completed, you will be randomly placed against a single opponent using this random pairing generator. This is how your opponents will be chosen throughout the comp until the Final Showdown.
Each Pairing of opponents will be given a different theme to work with; for example, Pair A may do Black and White, and Pair B may have to shoot a certain car.
Voting
After each entry period, one entrant from each pair will be voted off. Voters will have to choose one entrant from each pair, so a voting post would look like this:
A-1
B-1
C-1
D-2…
It doesn’t matter if you win by a landslide or a single vote, as your next opponent is random anyways.
Very Important-How To Enter A Shot
To make this more interesting, entries will be produced in a blind comp style. That means entries are sent to me via private message, and only the entrant and I know which shot is their’s. At the end of the comp, the top 3 or 5, depending on how many entrants I get, will be revealed along with all of their shots. In addition, the shot has to be new and not in your gallery so someone doesn’t recognize it as your work.

Round 1 entries- Friday, Aug. 29 7PM (12 GMT)
Round 1 Voting- Friday, Sep. 5 Midnight
Round 2 Entries- Friday, Sep. 12 Midnight
