So as nobody knows, because I never post on this forum, I started building a wheelie Jeep some time ago. Now the plan was to just completely soften the front, stiffen the back and just raise it all the way while putting as mucht power under the hood as possible. Although I got some small wheel pop off the start and the occasional mid size wheelie I found that this was not only inconsistent, but also unsatisfying. So I started playing with the tuning, putting spoilers on the back and maxing the downforce, playing with weight ratios and suspension setup and started getting something.
However, I have finally come to a point where I am happy with the setup. Although the rear bumper won’t scrape 100% of the time I simply couldn’t do anything about that. It will scrape 9/10 times off launch. The other problem I’m encountering, and this may be due to the limited slip diff setup but when the wheels are off the ground it steers itself a bit to the left. This has resulted in hitting a few cars (rarely) and tapping the wall a bit.
Lastly, I feel like due to the time and effort I’ve put into this setup it’s not worth making it public for free, I noticed there’s some type of tuning catalog but I can’t tell whether that’s to sell tunes or what. + I don’t feel like it’s really more than a novelty tunes and isn’t worth any money. But if anyone REALLY wants it I’ll upload it. Here’s a photo (sorry for the kind of ugly paint job lol).
