Well, they could have left the bad version up and let all of you corrupt your saves. Instead, they rolled back to a version they knew worked until the can fix the new ones, so PC players don’t lose their progress.

If they didn’t care at least a little bit, they would have just left the broken version up.

They care… about keeping their image good enough to milk the community, but not for the community.

This is what happens when the first reaction to the incorrect download is “quick, let’s go through it and leak everything” and “I wish someone would upload it somewhere so we could download it”.

Showing great support as we can see, mistakes happen who knows if it was on purpose by one or more people in the 3 studios or if it was T10/PG & it could even be Microsoft accepting the Dev Client rather than the Production Client of the game, we just have to be patient & wait, & yes they care about the PC players too why would they care more about the console players then the PC players but how could you say 1/10 even tho the game is great & a little mistake happened, it’s happened it can’t be helped & fixes are on there way no need to panic everybody just chill. also like to say that this is T10/PG first PC game apart from 6 Apex which was like a test for the upcoming Horizon 3 which runs really nicely & being one of their first production PC games.

I don’t think they don’t care, they just lack a proper form of communication. But look around you, most problems have their origin in some form of bad comminucation.
Also i don’t think it’s just the dev build that’s the problem. If they put up a dev build by mistake they could replace it with the original proper update and all would be fine.
There really isn’t a right way for them at the moment, if they say it will take them a week the world will be too small for people who are upset about it. If they say nothing people are still upset because they don’t know anything.

Very well said. Even if they did step up and say something people would be upset that it was broken in the first place, not properly tested first, taking too long to fix, etc.

2.5 days since the patch is supposed to release
1+ day since the last official communication about the situation

Yes, I think we’ve given them enough chance. The latter is especially unforgivable - screwing up once in a while is fine, but screwing up without explaining to people what the hell’s going on and giving progress reports of their efforts to fix it is not.

But then again, we’re talking about devs who can’t even be bothered to scrape some patch notes together even when their updates worked.

I also read they are going to do some kind of compensation for those people who ended up with corrupt saves!! T-10 has always seemed like one of the better companies to me,give them a chance, then come comment!!!

I want SLI support! They dont give a darn about the PC community.

T10, you guys better get on the case because Matt demands answers! Seriously though, less than 3 days from original patch date, a day after last communication? You’re lucky to get any communication at all with some developers. I’ve seen games that have gone a month or two with major issues and no word from developers only to get a patch out of nowhere to supposedly fix things. So two days is nothing if you consider the alternative.

Considering that I originally wrote 2 days, and only switched to 1 after seeing the thread on the forum that was last edited one day ago and is basically saying the exact same vague thing as the 2 day-old tweet, I was being way too generous with that number.

And just as importantly as the communication intervals, their messages have also been notably vague. Nobody is aware how bad the screw up is - do they have an actual PC release build update prepared, only to have accidentally uploaded the whole dev build and is now only bogged down by MS Store bureaucracy? Or is that PC build not actually ready for whatever reason? Nobody knows - no details, no ETA, nothing, just a vague “stay tuned”.

Oh, and we’re comparing T10/PG to those actual third-rate devs now? So that’s what you think T10 is aiming to become?

What’s the matter with you guys? Are you seriously so greedy you can’t stand a few days delay? You are not entitled to this game and all its DLCs just because you paid for it. You have absolutely no idea of what went wrong on the devs’ side, and even if I agree with you all about their lack of communication, you can’t judge them, only contemplate.
The DLC isn’t out yet? Fine, go take a dump and keep playing with the nearly 400 other cars the game already offers. I’m a PC player as well and I’m impatient to discover the new DLC but come on, show a little patience and respect for what’s been done already. You all look like spoiled brats who didn’t receive their candy at the second you asked for it.

Wow is that what it’s really all about. By the way this guy was carrying on I was under the impression that the game was down and unusable. If that’s the case then seriously get over it and wait for the patch. Things get delayed all the time. Even on the odd chance the FH3 was down for a couple days, you probably own other games, maybe even other Forza games. A little FM6 couldn’t hurt, right?

The developers are working on delivering the latest DLC to PC users, all there is to do is wait.
“We are working to get the update out to PC users ASAP. Thanks for your patience.”
