I’ve never really spent much time learning how to drift in previous versions of Forza, but soon realized in Horizon 2 that it was the best way to get Perk points. I tried a number of different cars and tunes, but ultimate found that the Tesla Model S was perfect - no gears needed! No RPMs and torque was steady.
Is using an electric car for drifting considered cheating?
You’re drifting, that’s all that really matters. Sure people will tell you it’s not cool, just like if you don’t use a standard RWD for it. (American/Japanese.)
I use a Renault 4 door hatchback that’s RWD, and it is not the normal drift car, but I like it and it’s the best for me. The thing that matters is, can you get it sideways and keep it sideways? If the answer is yes, then who cares?
Like above said drifting is drifting aslong as you can get it sideways and keep it sideways then thats drifting, also its not about how good the cars is it about the skill you have so no cars is considered cheating, cause any one can be just as good in another car.
