T10... Thank you for letting people vent, praise, and argue with this forum

… I love your game, I get annoyed with your game.
that you don’t cancel either of those opinions and
let players speak their mind on a dedicated forum
is beyond important.

don’t let Microsoft force you to stop doing that.

I think this forum benefits from the critical thinkers who participate, but not so much from the chronic complainers.

We wouldn’t keep complaining if the base things in this game were up-to-par with FM7 after 20 updates.

Some of the “base things” are as good as/better than ever.

Sure, some things might be/are worse, but I dunno… to me, as of late, this game is not the rotting-garbage some of us have made it out to be. FM23 could have slid down the toilet by now, but they haven’t let it yet.

I appreciate this last build/version of the game. Would appreciate more incremental improvements. :slightly_smiling_face:

This sounds like something a cowboy cop would say while their captain is reaming them a new one for destroying two sports stadiums and an orphanage while trying to catch a jaywalker.

The constructive feedback is in the insiders sections and SHUB

As they just deleted most of my (and some others) unfavorable comments in another thread. Then locked it. You spoke too soon :joy:

I just got on and saw I had a bunch of notifications. Was looking forward to reading through them but yeah there was nothing there. Then I saw this post in the suggestions at the bottom.

lol… yeah, guess that’s gone.
you know what,
this whole forum change thing just might be MY fault. :sad_but_relieved_face:

what really gets me is that you’d think a game developer would want to encourage as much engagement as possible between their game and the community that play it, like an OPEN forum for example.
no one takes time out of their day to visit an online, messaging community for a game they don’t like and don’t play.

I posted this as a way to ‘thank’ Turn 10 for letting players say what they want to say, even if a lot of that was negative, rather than trying to control the conversation but, at the end of the day, the open fourm format was only here because Microsoft allowed it.
had nothing to do with Turn 10.
and Microsoft changed their mind.

Mate, there are long-running (that have gone on for months to year+) that are nothing but people complaining without a constructive direction other than to air out their grievances in a pretty liberal fashion. And if you go back, I don’t think half of them are closed or merged, just dormant.

You’d be surprised. Given how much life I’ve wasted lurking this forum on a daily in some form since release, the number of “I haven’t played this game in months/since release” users that chime in just to complain has been pretty steady. And the number of people that do play it on the heavy regular while still airing grievances on a regular basis is equally as high, either through posting activity and/or seeing their names popping up under likes on posts that complain.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Just saying it’s totally a thing. People come to the official forums to raise issues, not talk about what they like.

The way making posts now works is stupid.

It will kill this forum MMW

Pretty sure that was the whole point. No new discussion topics (or at least a drastically reduced number) means less work to do for the remaining staff.

I’ve never seen anything so ridiculous on a forum ever.

I don’t think many forums loose the majority of their community engagement folks

Although, let’s be honest: T10 were never really great at community engagement even when they had a supposedly “full” staff.
