Sync Issue

I got my week 3 lambo liveries yesterday and my brother came by and wanted to check to see what he got. He dowloaded his week 3 rivals and league cars while he was there. Later when he got home and got back on his xbox he got the 2015 lambo for season 2. When he went to his cars to get in it he noticed his week 3 cars were not there. I checked his account on mine and they were gone here also. Is there any way to get his save file to sync properly so he can get his week 3 cars back? I don’t have any idea what sync save he chose when he got home. We always get a message about it taking a long time to sync please try again or load last saved data. This may be where the problem happened. He may have just chose load last save. Any help is appreciated.

He might have to do a hard reset of the console, holding power button/indicator til it powers off, and unplugging it from the wall until the power drains from the power brick, then restart the console. It might pop up another Sync message, where he can choose which one he needs. Typically, when going from one console to another, you should always select the Xbox Live Cloud save, as it’s usually the most recent. Have him try the steps above, and hope that it works. If it doesn’t, then we’d need him to talk to a Support tech here.

Edit: Gave this a shot but they aren’t there. I think they got lost when he turned his on and it said it was taking a long time to sync and he chose sync last save. This canceled the sync from my xbox. I guess he needs to contact support.

If he did that they are gone and overwritten
You should never cancel a sync just because it’s taking a long time. …forza does take a long time to sync…sometimes hours
If he chose the last save they are gone forever. .xbox support can’t help either
One of the mods on here might be able to give you someone to PM about it but generally the cars are only sent once …especially when its due to user error but you might get lucky

Looks like support is the only way at this point. If he can get on here and make a post in the Support section, he should get the answers and/or help he needs. I don’t know if they can do anything about it, but they might be able to. I don’t know. As I am not an employee of Turn 10, I don’t know how all of this type of thing works.

Thanks talby. That’s what I figured about the sync. My brother just got his xbox a month ago and didn’t know how the sync works. Probably didn’t read the whole message either because it says it will cancel the other sync in there somewhere when you select sync last save. Oh well maybe a mod will drop in and let us know if anything can be done. Thanks guys.
