In FM4, I created quite a few wooden car designs, but thought that the fun of that would disappear with the inclusion of wooden paint options for everyone in the FM5 paint shop.
Well, it turns out I’m not too impressed with those options, so I have decided to continue in FM5 with my own wooden car designs. You may like them, you may not, but I am making them because I enjoy it, and not because I feel there’s a huge need for these–at times–outlandish creations.
I’ll try to create some on a fairly regular basis (just like I do with my NASCAR liveries), but finding cars that have potential to look good is not always the easiest thing to do. Some cars just won’t look good in wood grain!
I always share the designs I’m happy with, so to get your hands on one, just get in one of the cars and search for ‘wood grain’ and/or ‘wooden’ in the ‘Find designs’ area and you should find them no problem.
Either way, here are my first creations. Both of my first designs exist in both matte and glossy paints.
