Whats the trick here? They’re very quick cars but I cant seem to build one properly. I made an Evo really fast but I cant figure out these subarus.
I tried ONR Roadrunners open source sti but it wasnt as quick as I was expecting.
I was in a lobby last night that had everyone driving subarus and I had a really hard time keeping up. And last night wasnt the first time. Whats the deal with these cars?
Its the 1.6L engine and you have to shift at around 5500 rpm’s. If you don’t the engine is useless.
I knew that already. Im talking more in terms of what upgrades and how its tuned.
What track? Roadrunners tune is great but its not a proper build for alps some of the really tight tracks

I just mean that alps or cat. School, tg east and west I prefer a 22b or 05 wrx with more handling. Your 04 is great for the other awd tracks though.
To me the evo is much looser than the subies with the same tune for whatever reason but I don’t think there is much difference in lap times
22b is the fastest Subaru though… by something like 1 second!
Whats the upgrade setup? Nothing I do to any of the subarus makes them as fast as my evo. Your open source sti is fantastic but a little underwhelming from all the hype about the subarus.

I think it was the op.but thats an accel build. Those 05s at yhe top of alps are grip builds… Road runner was right tho that 22b rips
Im still faster with my evo and even faster still with my escort cosworth. I didn’t understand how to upgrade them properly and I still dont understand how I get my butt kicked by 2011 sti’s but at least I understand how to build them.
I think some people are cheating somehow either that or they’re aliens.
I played against a guy the other night who was 2-3 seconds a lap faster than me every single race using nothing but a 2011 sti. He had no mic and didn’t respond to any of my text messages which I thought was kinda crappy of him. Everyone ended up voting to kick him cause he kept winning every race but wasnt willing to talk.
This will get you nowhere. People that are 3 seconds faster then you are better then you not cheating. Voting someone out because they are beating you? That is why you think you are faster then you are. Post after post of how you are fast but cAnt understand how other people can possibly beat you is not helping you Matt. The scoobies will destroy the evo or skylines u obviously struggle to get the most out of the 1.6 rally engine i know alot of people who cant drive them fast, u want to be using between 3900rpm and 4900rpm
stretch the gears out so that when u shift at 4900rpm it drops to no lower than 3900rpm so u are in the power band constantly. The 22b is best for short grippy tracks only 5 speed other scoobies 6 gear helps for topend speed…skylines supercharged 5.7 V8…is a good setup…scoobies rally 1.6 engine…Evo a mix of both
I know how to shift the rally engine, I just cant do anything with the subarus and im kinda getting sick of getting stomped by them every time someone pulls one out.
