The game has been stuttering when connected to Horizon Life since day one. I’ve reported it twice, posted here along with several others facing the exact same issue, yet it’s still not fixed. In fact, it’s getting worse. Yet, it’s still not been added to the list of known issues. Enough people have complained so I would like this formally acknowledged. It’s one thing to be patient while issues are addressed but another to see your issue ignored. It happened with FH3 and I’m not going to let it happen again.
Quitting Horizon Life and going into Solo mode eliminates the stutters mostly. The issue must be related to that.
Okay, so I’ve found that if I switch to Horizon Solo the stutters are eliminated. This has something to do with the online component. Please look into this!
I have the same stutters associated with Horizon Life online play (on my Xbox One X and PC.) Playing in Solo mode gets rid of them. I would like to see it addressed as well. On the other hand, they might smooth out a bit once the launch weekend hammering eases off the servers a bit (which may be part of the problem.)
I imagine it’ll actually get worse. Only Ultimate Edition owners are playing now. Next week comes everyone else. I hope they fix it, as right now I’m only getting part of the experience.
Thought I would add to this, noticed 3-4 instances of stutter this evening in free roam, I did not try horizon solo to see if that fixed it. XB1X here playing in quality mode.
Constantly replying isn’t going to do anything but fill the thread with useless posts. The devs have the info they need and I’m sure they’re aware of this as it seems to be a fairly prominent issue. I’m experiencing it myself so it’s good to know I can go into solo to reduce it.

This is what worries me. It’s not infrequent, nor is it when first connecting to a server, unless it happens a lot in the background. I just want to make sure this issue is being investigated. I appreciate the response and apologize for posting so much, but sometimes that’s what it takes to get recognized. The game is absolutely incredible and I’m loving every second of Horizon Solo, I just want to be able to enjoy Horizon Life as well.
Nitro, I installed the update but the stutters remain. I saw the patch notes mentioned fixing it so I just wanted to share what I’m getting post update.
In this first video is stutters while connecting and continues after. In the second it stutters as I’m going down the road and actually makes it look like the road shifts a bit. Harder to see in second video but it’s there. I entered a ticket earlier.
This is still not fixed and seems even worse after the update. I’ve updated my first post. The stuttering on X when connected to Horizon Life needs to be added to the list of known issues and addressed. This has absolutely not been fixed and should not be ignored.
