Stupid loudspeaker background noise

Every time I hop back onto FM7 after spending some time on FM6 I find something else that raises my blood pressure.

This time it’s the loudspeaker/tannoy voice you hear in some pre-race menus, especially at Test Track which I use for tuning. It’s just an annoying background noise that serves no purpose for me. Is there no way to turn it off with any of the sound settings??

I believe it’s gone if you turn down race track volume all the way. It muted the crowd too.

That does not work.

I have never been one for inane chatter or the stupid background noises, or that antsy, nervous looking race character standing in front of me during all the menu screens.
The only thing that I’ve found that works is to keep the mute button nearby.
