Struggling with clutch using controller.

Good tips guys. I’m like the OP, switched to manual with clutch not too long ago but not seeing big differences in my lap times. That may demonstrate that there are more serious driving technique errors that I need to correct, which I know is the case. As some have mentioned, I hold on to the brake for too long and I find myself off of the correct driving line way too often. I miss apexes which then sets me up to miss the next apex. Trying to get better but I just don’t play enough to work out these issues as quickly as I’d like. But following a faster ghost is something I need to do. As bad of a driver as feel I am, I’m top 500 on a couple tracks, top 1000 on a couple and then somewhere beyond that on all the others. But always in the top 1%. I just feel like a bumbling lug too often, especially when I watch someone like Raceboy77 on Twitch. Stunning how good the best guys are.

The clutch usually won’t shave off seconds but will shave off tenths at least. Best thing I can say to shave off seconds is focus on your build… The best tune in the world can only do so much with a build. The tune should compliment the build not fix it…

In terms of how fast u can be it goes driver, build, tune. So in other words worry about the tune last. First focus on yourself and realize what u are doing wrong and work on adjusting that. Next look at your build and make sure u are maximizing your PI. When u have that now u can worry about the tune. I’m no re than willing to give out a lending hand in game parties.

The build and tuning are two more areas I need help in. But I would love to get together in a game party. Never done that before, in fact, never raced online before but would like to give it a shot. Let me know if I should add you or what. Thanks!

Yeah man u can add me… next time I’m on which should be in 2 hours send me a party invite… The guys on here have taught me alot and I don’t mind passing that on to the next guy

R class and up clutch is less important
