Is there a way to set the opponents in a way they don’t have upgraded cars? just stock like in Forza 4…
Not possible in career, only free play and multiplayer. I wish it was the exact opposite… tuned opponents in free play(at least an option) and multiplayer.
If you go into free play and don’t select a class restriction, the game will choose a bunch of unmodified cars with PI numbers close to your car’s.
There’s usually a couple of cars with higher PI numbers (the most I’ve seen is about 10 more than mine*), but it actually makes it more fun, since their cars are a little bit faster; it sort of makes up for their bad driving.
I do this a lot, since most of my favorite cars have numbers like “PI 368,” and whatnot.
*It seems the difference increases when you go to a higher class; I just finished a race where the leader’s PI was about 40 more than mine. I still beat him, though.
I just got the game a week or so ago and this is by far one of my biggest disappointments about this game. thankfully its only one of a few, the game is enjoyable more than not by far and i’ll see if it still feels fresh months from now when I have done everything there is to do in this game. heh
Boy do i miss creating my own lobbies… good ol, ferrari vs corvette vs viper at le mans. If you click any class for the game setup you will get stock cars around your pp. Id rather race against unmodifieds so i can guage my cars performance better, and its just more fun, but when the ai is modified to the top of the class it gives that extra challenge some of us need
