Steering Wheel Tuning setting review

The problem with the steering wheel tuning setting is they don’t do what they’re intended to do. force feedback scale doesn’t just make lighter cars feel light, and heavier cars feel heavy, it effects all force feedback settings. at 200 the wheel is bouncing around all over the place. it would work better if the force feedback scale only effected the center spring scale and not all force feedback settings.

The steering lock range is useless with a 900 degree wheel. turning it down only makes my steering more sensitive, rather than simulate a 90 degree lock. i turn the wheel 25 degrees and the game has me making a 90 degree turn.

Steering wheel tuning is a nice idea but it need work.

Also it would be nice to have Wheel telemetry during the replay.

Steering Lock is a misnomer. The idea is exactly that, to make steering more sensitive by car. So you can set your overall to 900 and then lower the degree of rotation by car. That way you can lower the degree of rotation for the higher powered cars. You wouldn’t want to drive an F1 car with a 900 degree rotation. Now you can set your F1 car steering lock lower for higher sensitivity. A lot of guys run them at 360 degrees or even lower.

I find it more annoying that it’s simply a percentage. Now I have to run the math to figure of the degree of rotation. Not hard, but annoying.
