Steering wheel or controller??

Hi all not been playing forza for long but must say I’m really enjoying it.
I was wanting to know whether the top drivers prefer a controller or steering wheel. I read a thread and someone suggested altering the number settings in the controller so it responds better. What’s people’s thoughts on that? Also thoughts on why you shouldn’t be using abs?
