Basically, I transferred my Forza save to a memory stick, because I was playing on 2 different Xbox’s (Bedroom and Living room). Cut a long story short, I copied a fresh save over my nigh on finished save… Any cars and credits want my way would be greatly appreciated… Gamer tag is as shown.
I thought if you attempted to copy a Forza save file it would automatically trigger an in-game ban for “tampering?”

I believe you can “Transfer” your game save safely and legitimately. “Copying” is what gets the Ban Hammer if I’m not mistaken.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. But the OP said “Cut a long story short, I copied a fresh save…” He says that he “copied” at least one save file, so I’m confused as to how it didn’t trigger the auto-ban. I’m just gonna assume that he phrased it wrong, but it’s still got me confused…

You can legitimately “move” your save from one place to another. What I gather he did this time was save over his old file, effectively deleting it.
