Started up Forza, level one?

Hey everybody,
I woke up this morning like every other day and started up my xbox one and began to play Forza. Then it started playing the original movie thing at the start… At this point I was like… Ok… Then I had to buy a car which was free then I saw my level… Not 300 and something like the night before but all the way back to level 1. Why does this have to happen to me?
Honestly I’m not really bothered to much about it but it would be nice to know if this has happened to anyone else and if there is a way to get some if not all of my credits back from before. I’m not worried about my cars or anything else (although I had a fair few drift set ups that I have no copies if and didn’t save them)

Unfortunately, it does happen to other people. We get these posts on a weekly basis.
