So I have pretty much tried everything to get this thing to tally, but nothing. (Xbox One X)
I was originally in Quality Mode… nothing.
Switched to Performance… nothing.
Switched back to Quality… nothing.
Drove in a race, nothing.
Cruised around, nothing.
Drove off-road, nothing.
Drove on Fortune Island, nothing.
RE-tuned the car, nothing.
Painted the car (I was desperate), nothing.
I even switch to my second Xbox One X and repeated the steps above… nothing.
So I’ll have to do the Trial, because the prize is new exclusive, and I’ve already got the rest. And I’ll do the weekly Forzathon, because I usually do anyway. That’ll probably put me over the top for 80% seasonal playlist as well. And then I’m done! A quiet week. Which works out for me, because I’ve got one episode left of Jessica Jones, and I haven’t even started Stranger Things yet.
My Trial had a interesting development, we secured the entire podium in the first race without much trouble and I won, the second race I did win and everything seemed set for an identical outcome as the first, however, at the very last moment, my teammates that were in 2nd and 3rd lost grip on the wet sand, and got robbed blind by two Drivatars, thus the team lost. The Titan was a spectacle as predicted, where anything and everything that could happen, happened, and despite driving a Ranger Raptor optimized for grip I managed to spin on the mud, cue comeback wherein I fight my way to the podium. The team ultimately put enough points on the board to avenge the previous loss.
The moral of the story is that, if you want the new Jeep Wrangler, you’d better get ready for some very, very slippery ground onto which you will be racing at high speeds, and on heavy, clumsy, B-class trucks. As they say “it” happens, and it’s going to happen even to your team’s best drivers and lightest trucks.
As for this week’s Playground Games, it proved to be my funniest yet.
Another broken challenge, surprise surprise. This is getting ridiculous. If you’re going to put a rare car behind a 2,000 FP wall you better make sure the challenges that pay FP actually work. Also coop is broken entirely. At this point you should be paying us to bugfix and troubleshoot your sorry and pathetic waste of a game.
