Spectating and Manual Grid Ordering not present in Multiplayer

Hi all,

While in a private lobby last night I noticed some features didn’t carry over from Forza Motorsport 6:

  • Spectating races.
  • Manual grid ordering controlled by the host.
  • Grid preview introduction visuals.
  • In-race info (as there is no spectate mode to use it in).

I find it odd that these features were championed in a Forza Motorsport 6 update as being teasers for Forza Motorsport 7*, yet they’re not present.

I’m sure something of this will show up in Leagues and ForzaRC events, but Turn 10 are aware that many community-run racing organisations made use of those features, and their absence makes it harder for those events to function properly.

*That particular article doesn’t mention Forza Motorsport 7 but pre-release interviews did bring up that these features were some of those that got implemented early in preparation for this title.

Give it time — I’ll personally be amazed if none of these feature by the time ForzaRC inevitably comes around.
