Similar to what many others are experiencing, I for some reason do not have any sound other than engine noise and some sound effects while playing using my Razer Kraken V2 Chroma 7.1 USB headset. I have tried countless remedies to this issue to no avail, but have been able to get the sound to play through my speakers to play, by enabling all enhancements, and then I checking the “immediate” box, then restarting my PC (something I have done numerous times). While I don’t know why this is happening, it could be because, for my case, if you go into sound properties for the headset, you cannot change the enhancements at all through the menu, because it is controlled by Razer Software (synapse). In this case, the issue could be caused by the use of a third party application to change the sound enhancements (like bass boosting or sound normalization), extending this issue to any headset user who uses either a USB headset, or one that uses software to alter the audio output. That’s just an educated guess, but if anyone can tell me what’s wrong or if they have remedied this problem already, please let me know. I will keep this thread posted as to how this issue is going.

I have the exact same issue with the same headset. Plugged in my old one just to check if it was still working on that one and sure enough, yep. My guess is Synapse is doing it so I might try uninstalling that and seeing how it goes.
