Some Supersport Chevrolets Missing Emblems/Badges and Decals

Just what the title says. Some of the Chevy SS vehicles (mainly classics) are missing the SS monikers on the grilles, bumpers, fenders, etc. Some are missing the decals. I haven’t seen any other makes or models yet with such glaring omissions, but I will keep an eye out. Any other random SNAFUs like this that anyone is seeing? And why after all this time is the 1969 Hurst Olds 442 still listed as a 1968? The '68 was a totally different car. Fairly obvious.

It’s not a snafu or an error, it was a decision made in conjunction with or at the behest of General Motors/Chevrolet.
