If this is just a game and I’m told that I shouldn’t take it so seriously. Why do I see more people cutting corners cause they would lose if they didn’t? It is just a game right? I’d rather lose by racing clean. Or is it cool to win by cheating. If it is then there are a lot of cool people playing Forza.
Or would you like to talk about how if certain people would put as much effort into policing the games these forums represent there would be a lot less cheaters. Doesn’t it make more sense?

So Lambos are not sports cars? I think you need to update your ancient sports car notions to the 21st Century.

To answer your question. Yes you are correct. Lambo the manufacturer of tractors to this day, went to Enzo and test drove a Ferrari and didn’t like how the tranny of a real sports car shifted. So there you have it. This is how Lamborghini got started.

Yes you also are correct. Some come with 2 wheel drive the better ones anyways and all wheel drive. High performance tractors. 0-60 in 2 seconds. Just imagine how fast a farmer can get his day’s work done on a Lambo.

Koga, PLEASE share some of the cars that you consider are sports cars - and why it is important to know which cars are sports cars and which ones aren’t.

The thing is, you’re posting on PUBLIC forums. My entire understanding of forums is that the OP begins a discussion on an interesting topic by stating their opinion on said topic, while allowing others to chime in with their opinions, therefore making conversation. People are supposed to chime in with their opinions. If you don’t want to know what other people think about something, keep it to yourself. You come on here to see different points of view on the same topic. With this thread you basically said “Hey guys! You want to know what I think the definition of something is? No? Okay, here it is!” Shockingly, most of us do not agree with your definition, therefore we state our negative opinions of your chosen topic.
Generally people will agree that it’s a car that has sporty looks and performance, but there’s NO written definition and there shouldn’t be one. Coming to a forum that’s dedicated to a game about cars and trying to tell us all what you think we should think isn’t going to blow over well. To make it worse, whether or not it’s your intention, you have a tendency to make posts in a “here’s what I think you should think. Don’t like it? Bugger off.” manner.
Look, Koga, I don’t know what your age is or what experience you have with forums but I can see you’re not quite ready for them yet. I remember when I first started trying to use the GameSpot forums in early 2010 and I jumped on there with a post saying how I was going to “dominate you all on Need for Speed Hot Pursuit when it releases.” Surprisingly, I got a lot of backlash for that… I didn’t quite grasp the concept that I needed to actually think about what I was posting, I just posted. It looks like you’re at that same level that I used to be. I don’t mind you posting on these forums, I really don’t. I just wish you’d take a moment to consider what peoples’ reactions to your posts is going to be like. You should’ve known that this topic in particular, when phrased like it is, was going to get you negatives responses, so why bother posting it? Wouldn’t it have been better to make a thread asking what people considered the definition of a sports car to be, while also mentioning your own opinion on it?
“Hey Forza Community! Recently I was thinking about what the definition of a sports car is… I’ve got my own suggestion as to what it is, and I’ll get to that here in a second, but I wanted to come on here and ask you guys what you considered the definition of a sports car to be. Personally, I believe it’s __________________________________… What’s your thoughts on my definition, and if you care to write one, what’s your own? Thanks guys!”
Now wouldn’t that have gotten you a much better response? Take the time to think your posts through man, trust me, it’ll work out better for you in the long run. And I wanna see the day that I can seriously say “hey look! A Koga thread! I gotta go do that thing, but I wanna read what he said first!”
EDIT: And now you tried to quickly swap out your original topic with a different, even worse topic? Buddy, quit while you’re ahead…

I want this thread to talk about not cheating! This is something that hasn’t been seen so much, especially not since KOGA has signed in! This is like, new!
No but, seriously, you really had to dig further to get this type of conversation…
KOGA is a troll on these forums and should be banned. Every other forum he/she/they are arguing their own opinion even if they do not own that particular game (see FM5 forums). Opinions across the board go completely against themselves (game should be taken serious/realistic vs. it’s just a game why take it serious)(what’s “cheating” vs. what’s not). At first I though that this user was just plain naive and new to forum based discussion, but it is clear they are posting counter arguments, cherry picking responses solely to get rises and arguments out of other users.
This particular thread is a clear example of how this user abuses the forums, starting a topic, disagreeing with others posts, changing the topic to create a stir in the community.
I don’t post here often, but I do frequent these forums and I believe there is no benefit to keeping this user here.

Plucky, PM one of the mods if you feel someone should be banned from these forums. You posting an attack against another user is, to my understanding, grounds for moderation.
I’d like to think Koga just needs more experience around forums. Looking at how he currently posts, I can see just how similar it is to how I used to post on forums… Quite simply, I am no longer welcome on several forums thanks to my younger self. I even pushed my luck quite a bit around here originally… Now in the present day a fair number of people actually enjoy reading my posts. I would have never gotten to that point if I wasn’t allowed to keep posting until I learned how to make my posts up to standards.
If Koga does know better and is in fact trolling, the mods will do their job. We don’t get to tell them what to do (Dragnet has even reminded me of that before)…
Please - keep this going. It’s distracting me from my mental countdown of the time I have left before I can get Horizon 2!
In all seriousness, you are correct when you say that Lamborghini did start out making tractors. Horacio Pagani started out as a designer at Lamborghini - are you now saying that all Pagani’s are just immitatiosnof Lamborghini’s? Maybe everybody copied Henry Ford in creating a car?

Is anyone aware that I do have other threads that are relevant to the games and racing. It’s kinda odd that this would attract more attention. Please check out my other threads such as, R2 tunes. I might even talk about how I setup and tune cars. I have gotten a few positive posts about my tunes. How the assist I do and don’t use really affect the way I tune.
